M.A. Chinese is a master level course. The purpose of this course is following 3-areas of specialization besides providing advanced training in language and literature these are: Chinese Literature, Chinese Classical Studies and Modern Chinese Studies. Candidates may also opt for any one of the specializations by taking four elective courses in their respective area.
