M.Phil North East India Studies is a Postgraduate Academic Research Degree course. Mainly The course duration is two year (four  semesters). The aim of this program to promote teaching and critical research on North East India and also encourage and engage with relative research which covers themes connecting local and global issues and their wider implications. The course motivate the exchange of scholars, workshops, seminars, symposia etc., on particular themes pertinent to the region
