MA Bhutia is a master level course with duration of 2 years. The Bhutia are a network of individuals of Tibetan heritage, who speak Lhopo or Sikkimese, a Tibetan lingo reasonably commonly coherent with standard Tibetan. In 2001, the Bhutia numbered around 70,300. Bhutia here alludes to Sikkimese of Tibetan parentage; interestingly, the Bhotiya are a bigger group of related Tibetan people groups in northeastern Nepal of which the Bhutia are one part gathering.
